Shipping Rates and PoliciesOur Shipping Policies If your order is placed before 3:00 PM EST, it will be shipped the same day. Orders received after 3:00 PM EST are shipped the next day. We ship anywhere in the U.S. including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We use UPS as our normal means of shipping with USPS Parcel Post as an alternate choice. You must provide a street address for UPS, otherwise choose USPS Parcel Post as your shipper. Shipping and handling costs are $7.95 flat rate for UPS Ground shipment anywhere in the continental United States (Not including Alaska or Hawaii). UPS Overnight to the same locations are a flat rate of $21.95. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be caluculated based upon shipping company and address of buyer.
Return Policies The Hiking GPS Store offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Returned products must be complete in original packaging and resalable. Special Order items may not be returned. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective and may only be returned for replacement. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. Returns received without an RMA number will be returned to the shipper. Merchandise accepted for return shall be credited at the original invoice price.To obtain an RMA number, you may send us an email by using the Contact Us page. Over-box the product just as it was received and be sure to include the RMA number in the attention line of the address. DO NOT deface the original product packaging with writing or adhesive labels. Restocking Fee Products not meeting the conditions above may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 18%. Please contact the RMA department for details. Return Shipping Charges Return shipping charges must be prepaid to the RMA department. If the RMA request is due to our error, we will rectify the situation accordingly. Please include the following information in the e-mail when requesting an RMA:-Original Invoice Number -SKU Number of Returned Item(s) -Quantity -Serial Number (where applicable) -Reason for Return (please be specific if defective) All returns must be insured and sent to: ATTN: Returns Department RMA# XXXXXX 18 Butler Avenue Bayville, NJ 08721 |
